Your personal data is processed by Renault SAS and the members of its commercial network, as joint controllers.  Your data is used for the management of your registration to your ID Connect account, the reporting on their activities, the conduct of research and development activities, the improvement of products and services in particular by using advanced analysis, the management of your participation in product / trend studies and the sending of personalised commercial offers that may be of interest to you. You have a right of access to your personal data. You can also request the rectification or erasure of your personal data. You also have the right to object to the processing of these, without reason when it comes to commercial prospecting (including by post and telephone), justifying a particular situation in other cases, or to request a limitation of said processing.

When we send you promotional messages, our aim is to send you the most relevant advertisements and offers possible, suited to your needs and truly likely to interest you. Based on your personal data (those you provide to us directly and those we obtain from our partners, as well as those we collect through automated processes when you visit our websites or use our mobile applications), we develop a profile that enables us to assess and predict your personal experiences and/or interests for our products and services as accurately as possible. Knowing you better means we can offer you the most suitable products and services to serve you better.

Generally speaking, we undertake to collect only the personal data necessary to each of the purposes for which we process your data.

- The term of your agreement, if you have entered into an agreement with RENAULT or the members of its network,

- The time necessary to process your request or claim,

- The length of time for which your user account has been open (if you have opened one), except in the event of three years of inactivity,

- Your interest in our advertisements,

- The necessity to log your interactions with us, in order to properly manage our commercial relationship,

- Our legal or regulatory obligations.

It may be necessary to archive some of your personal data in order to be able to respond to any legal claims, throughout the prescription period provided for in the applicable legislation.

It may also be necessary to share your personal data with other entities of Groupe Renault, such as RCI and DIAC, and with partners, and when we use service providers, in order to process all or part of your personal data, to the extent necessary to fulfil the tasks entrusted to them (for example, to host our website or the mobile applications, to provide services related to website operation and maintenance, or concerning the dispatch of commercial offers and to conduct surveys).

As far as possible, your data are stored in servers located within the European Economic Area (EEA). However, as some of our service providers are located in countries outside of the EEA, your personal data may be processed in those countries. Some of those countries may have different personal data regulations compared with those of the European Union. In such cases, we take special care to ensure the transfer is done in accordance with applicable regulations, and we establish warranties ensuring a level of protection for your private life and your basic rights equivalent to that provided by the European Union (in particular by using standard contractual clauses used by the European Commission). Lastly, it may be necessary to communicate your personal data to third parties in order to comply with a legal obligation, administrative decision or court ruling.

- The right of rectification, if your data is erroneous or outdated, which will enable us to comply with our obligation to have up-to-date data about you,

However, registration on this list does not prohibit RENAULT from contacting you for marketing purposes during the term of your agreement with RENAULT, unless if you have specifically exercised your right of opposition to no longer receive commercial offers from RENAULT.

Lastly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL regarding the processing of your personal data. We encourage you to contact us prior to any claim, so that we may attempt to resolve your problem together.

We may also collect technical information about you through automated processes when you visit one of our websites or use one of our mobile applications, in particular your IP address and your browser settings, by means of cookies.
